Love, respect and versatility
"If your horse says no, either you asked the wrong question or asked in the wrong way"
The words of Pat Parelli resound, or rather they should be the visiting card of every team and before any competition. How many times you have happened to attend a race critical situations: horses that refuse, in defense and at the same time knights and amazons that "lose their temper" or control, without reasoning why their four-legged friend has said no. One thing is certain for every action there is a consequence. With horses, incredibly sensitive animals, one cannot reason as if one were using a machine.
It is useless to say 'at home it was good and in the race everything goes wrong'. The 'ferryman' is the jockey, who should know himself the best, the first to remain calm to find the right feeling and a correct communication.
Whoever has balance, good self-control, at all levels, mental, emotional and physical is ready to create a binomial, remembering that respect is the secret ingredient for finding complicity and understanding.
